ABOUT Mr. Graham Alan Leftwich

"Making Musicians Everyday"



        Mr. Leftwich has been teaching instrumental music for 18 years in the CT public school system. A graduate of Hartt School of Music (trumpet and voice) with a BA in Music Management and a MSE in Music Education with Technology, Graham has been in the music industry for 30 years.  In the nineties he worked in sales and marketing for PolyGram Classics and Jazz (Deutsche Grammophon, London, Philips, Verve, ECM, A&M, Island and Mercury labels).  During that time Mr. Leftwich worked with artists such as Carlos Santana, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lucianno Pavarotti, Leonard Bernstein, Rene Fleming, Bryn Terfel, Itzhak Perleman, Joshua Bell, Joe Henderson, and Stan Getz. He subsequently went on to start his own record label recording singer-songwriters and orchestras from around the world. Graham’s is currently the band and orchestra director for Roxbury and Stark Schools in Stamford, CT.  His experience, passion and drive now inspire and motivate a new generation of future musicians through education.
